Bass Engineering Company is a leading provider of cathodic protection services for industrial assets. Founded in 1967 in Longview, Texas, we have been protecting our nation's infrastructure for over 55 years.

In January of 2022, Bass Engineering was acquired by ONEMESA. Bass Engineering and ONEMESA share a mutual desire to make the world a SAFER place by protecting assets and protecting the planet.

Clay Brelsford

With over 40 years of dedicated experience, Clay Brelsford excels in corrosion control, focusing on cathodic protection, AC mitigation, and lightning protection systems. Clay is a certified Cathodic Protection Specialist, actively contributing to AMPP through volunteer service and instructing as a CP1 and CP2. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M, solidifying his expertise and leadership in the field.

Frank Greene

Frank Greene is a results-driven professional with more than 2.5 decades of leadership in operations management at MESA. Currently serving as V.P. of Operations with Bass Engineering, he has transformed teams and projects through SAFE execution while focused on quality and customer service, with expertise spanning the cathodic protection industry, including fuel terminals,  marine dock facilities, and nuclear plants. Wesley Avey

Wes Avey is an accomplished leader in the cathodic protection industry. With more than a decade of experience he carries a wealth of knowledge and experience in cathodic protection and integrity solutions. His technical experience and designs, ranging from simple projects to complex facility designs, are a true asset to our customers. Now serving as Director of Projects for Bass Engineering, Wes leads a well-rounded team of project managers and estimators. A dedicated AMPP instructor, Wes maintains a NACE CP4 and PMP certification. Based in Tulsa, OK
